Two men were injured after a backflip motorbike stunt went wrong in Glasgow.  The biker was on a bike with 3 other people at the SSE Hydro arena for

the Nitro Circus action sport event when the accident happened.

The bike carrying all four of them made it to the top but failed to cross over a ramp, falling back down and sending them flying. The men were audience members and also stuntmen.
After the accident, there was a voiceover in the background heard announcing: "That is theworst crash we have ever had."

The injured pair were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. One is believed to have a hip injury and the other has facial injuries.  Teams of people scrambled to the men after the bike tumbled to the floor. The accident was broadcast on the big screens as the MC for the event told the audience: “It was obviously not planned –  but occasionally something could go wrong.  The show was temporarily halted while the injured stuntmen were rushed to the hospital.
